Almeria midfielder Gonzalo Melero could be bann for up to 12 games for criticizing the referee after the 2-3 loss to Real Madrid and VAR issues.

The Referee’s Technical Committee (CTA) was unhappy with Gonzalo Melero’s comments referring to referees and was considering filing a complaint about the referees’ comments. This could lead to the 30-year-old Almeria midfielder being bann for up to 12 games if the Spanish Football Federation’s competition committee finds him guilty.

Real Madrid’s comeback win over Almeria 3-2 on the Liga stage last Sunday had many talking points, especially VAR, who played the role of hero for the army.’ Los Blancos’ by awarding a goal to the Whites, a penalty and disallowing the visiting team to score a goal. This would leave them 3-1 away and Carlo Ancelotti’s team would have no chance of turning the situation around.

Almeria players were dissatisfie with the performance of the referee and VAR staff, before 20-year-old right-back Marc Pubill said after the game that his team was the victim of corruption. Melero vent to the media that his team had been robb of victory.

‘We left with the feeling that we had been robb of victory. The referee hurt us. and more than that They also think they are doing well. If we want to be the best league in the world We are still light years away,’ Melero said. โปรโมชั่น ufabet
